This was my first Documented Faith project. The
inspirational scripture was 1 Chronicles 16:11 which is part of a song of praise David
sang when he brought the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. As I searched for additional scriptures, I
discovered that most of them were pieces of songs which is why I put musical
note from Casual Friday’s Heartbeats
stamp set in the center of my page. I used
Stazon Black solvent ink to stamp the image. My Volkswagon Beetle, a stamp from
Stamp On It, designates days we were driving home from a scrapbooking show in Florida. I
doodled my pages with a Faber-Castell medium point india ink pen and colored my
backgrounds and flowers with the following Faber-Castell Big Stamping Brush Brush pens, also
made of india ink: Pink Madder Lake, Deep Scarlet Red, Orange Glaze, May Green,
Dark Chrome Yellow, Light Cobalt Turquoise, Cobalt Blue, Manganese Violet, and
Cold Gray 3 (on the Volkswagon). I like these because the India Ink does not bleed through the onion skin paper in my 18-month Moleskine planner nor in my Bible. We have all these colors in stock at our
online store at www.scrappigators.com.
Oh! The 3-D butterfly is not part of the design. I just dropped it beside the title
for a little accent.
